There are lots of ways to get involved in the fight to take back the House, but the best way to take your activism to the next level is by hosting your own Swing Left event. Here are a few ways to make a big difference:
Host a House Party
To win big in Swing Districts, we need to build a massive movement. We started by coming together online, but meeting in real life—in our living rooms—is what builds the connections that fuel a movement.

Host a Door-to-Door Canvass
Talking to voters is one of the most important things we can do to influence Swing District elections, particularly because turnout in House races is traditionally so low and the margins of victory are narrow. Research shows that face-to-face voter contact is by far the most effective way to communicate with voters and help get more Democrats to the polls on election day. Swing Left’s canvass program is about making sure we begin this critical voter contact work early, in order to ensure that we have the votes we need to win next fall.

Host a High-Traffic Area Canvass
If you aren't ready to go out and knock on doors quite yet, you can help make sure that voters are registered and recruit volunteers at events and in busy "high-traffic" areas.
